Those pistols aren't a "deal" at $100 either, Impact guns in Boise sells the Hi-Points for just over $100 without buying any other gun. Use the $100 for a nice holster, spare mags, and some good ammo - both range ammo and some good hollowpoints for self defense. If you want another handgun later use your experiences with the S&W to see what you want and dont want in the next gun. Also, excellent choice on the 5906, its a great gun for the money.
