Here's my home made 629. I had Mag-Na-Port make this pistol up with an original LH 3" barrel.

My friend has an identical 29 LH and when shooting my homebrew rounds through his, it's painful. Out of my 629 it's pleasant.

What are my homebrews? 265g GCSWC (Lyman #429244) over 22g H110.

I own a M640 which has a 2" Mag-na-port barrel and when I fire full house .357 Magnum rounds in it the felt recoil is less than when I fire .38 Special +P rounds in my M638.

I have yet to test any velocities but i will soon. (as soon as the weather permits)
