After many range trips with 9mm, I figured I owed the world a revolver day.
S&W 66, 4" w laser
Two S&W Snubbies, 1 7/8"
Shiny chromed Model 37 Airweight
Dull DAO Model 642 titanium Airweight w laser
Heritage Rough Rider SA .22LR
Took only .38SP for the S&W set. My old hands no longer love .357Mag recoil
Shot all the S&W double action.
Ran 5 rounds each at B-8 Centers at 7 yards
Did much better with the 642 than with the 37, so ran the ASP 10 Round Dot Assessment with only the 66 and 642, both at 3 yards. Had one miss with the 642.
Then ran three 6 round drills for group size with the RR.
Boy, the tiny grip on the 37 compared to the fatter grip on the 642 makes a huge difference.
this was fun. Gotta do it again in a couple of months.

Very nice . Variety is the spice of life, and taking a break from the automatics in our lives to exercise the revolvers is never a bad thing. Glad to see that you were able to get some time in with your S&W’s and Rough Rider. :)

Stay safe.

When I see yinz posting about taking half a dozen guns on a range run, I reminded how lucky/spoiled we are locally. In addition to a couple outdoor ranges, we also have an indoor Club with unlimited range time, and the ability to shoot anything up to 1400'sec.
So we shoot for an hour, drink beer for two, and call it an evening. :)
But yeah, a revo night is refreshing, not to mention avoiding policing brass.
For the OP, nice choice of guns, and a good idea.

Yes, a revolver day is a good thing. I need to have one this week. ;)

Since I moved I haven’t been reloading ammo as we are in a rental and I have not built my new reloading bench yet. So, that also means I haven’t been shooting revolvers as often. I must remedy this soon.

Pat, does that mean you have those, what, primer things that we used to buy? :(
Been using my remaining primers for revolver ammo; it's cheaper to buy 9s.

I always shoot revolvers and sometimes add a semi auto. With winter here I will stick to revolvers only if there is snow on the ground so I don’t lose brass
