I was just thinking about which guns make me smile every time I shoot them, and this is my most favorite revolver (S&W 2nd Model HE .45 Colt). Exterior knocks and bluing wear, it is like new on the inside, and the fact that it is not to be babied makes me carry it more often, and not worry about keeping it "pretty". Does anyone else find beauty in a well worn, hard use, honest wear/worn gun that does what it should?

Hello friends and neighbors // Wear that can be blamed on me would be these two, often carried old friends.

The 1983,6", S&W 586 Distingushed Combat Magnum is my most used revolver.
S&W fixed a recall problem and a GS smoothed out the trigger. No real failures. SW586.jpg

The 1978, 6 or 2 1/2" , DW 15-2, .357 has not needed the spare parts yet but I am glad to have them. Somehow the DW makes shooting .357 feel like you just shot a .38, a true pleasure.
