My old eyes just are not what they used to be so using fixed iron sights is a challenge. I mounted a 1-4 Leupold Pig Plex which did fine with targets out past 50 yds or so but up close, or when needing quick target acquisition is needed it isn't what I'd like.
I tried mounting a Eotech EXPS2 but it sits way to high so I was considering a micro such as the Leupold Deltapoint, Eotech MRDS or the Trijicon RMR. Then I got to looking around and found the Burris Fastfire which are half the price. They seem to get good reviews from those using them on semi-auto pistols and shotguns but I've not found anything where they are mounted to a highpowered rifle with the recoil of a .460 Smith.
Just looking for some feedback from anyone with experience with the Fastfire. I'm confident the higher end models like the Deltapoint will handle it but money is tight.
