It is a copy of the Erma EP-25. Don't know for sure but I can make a guess. After passage of the 1968 Gun control law in 1968 most of the small inexpensive { and unfortunately some very nice expensive ones} firearms were baned from import. RG industries had parts for the Rohm RG series guns shipped to the states and assembled them in Florida. Hence they were no longer cheap imported guns but cheap American guns. It seems they did the same with the small Erma's. If it were a imported Erma them it would have the Model EP-25 roll marked on the slide instead of RG-420 A German Erma is listed at 200 in { like NIB } excellent condition. Your generic Erma, perhaps 125 to 135. Hope that helps
