I recently picked up a RIA 38 super parkerized. I like the way it shoots and feels. Question is, what is the grain of bullet of choice for this caliber? Does one grain shine in the 38 super over the others?

What brand shoots good? Limited supply 38 around here. Only one store carries 38 super, and stock is hit and miss. Who and where is the place online to get some 38 super ammo?

try Natchez Shooters Supply - they will send it right to your door - and as the .38 super is pretty hot, I use the lighter bullet sizes....great pistol/caliber

.
P. S. by the way, they have some at $17 box, better stock up as it is usually 30 or so

I've got the same gun, picked it up a month or two ago, I really like it, nice and tight, very accurate. I also have a couple of other .38 Supers. I've bought ammo from www.ammunitiontogo.com, they have good prices and reasonable shipping.

The FMJ is all 130gr as far as I know, I get about 1220fps from the Aguila out of my gun. CorBon makes several defense loads in .38 Super and they're pretty hot. Their 125gr HP is listed at 1325fps, 115gr HP at 1425, and 100gr Pow'rBall is smokin' at 1525fps. The WW Silvertip 125gr HP is anemic by comparison, I clocked it at around 1200fps from my gun.
