RIA 45 1911 sites needed

I purchased a RIA 45 1911. It has the GI sites on it. I would like to upgrade to some other sites like night sites, the 2 dot back sight with 1 dot on Front. Can anyone tell me is there any of these out there that will work in the already cut slots that holds the factory sites without any gunsmithing. Thank you
PS: No ashley or any other sight with a bar and dot on the top.

Being the standard mil-spec 1911A1 sites, they are going to take the rear-sight for the standard Colt dovetail, and a front-sight that requires a special punch to install. I think the Springfield GI cut is a little different than the standard mil-spec one.

I looked around for a little while for some night sights that would fit your mil-spec pistol with having new cuts done, and while I didn't find any, I'm sure they are out there.

I would contact the manufacturer(importer) to find out the dimensions of the rear dovetail cut and then go from there. Mark

Try contacting Armscor Precision, Inc. in Nevada as they will be able to tell you the exact specifications for the rear and front sights for your gun.

I asked the same question last week and got mixed answeres. some say novaks will fit and others say they wont. When i pick my tactical up next week im just going to a gunsmith and let him tell me whats up. i recomened the same. good luck and if you find out anything i would love to hear.
