Hi; flexible here. I am sighting in my first hi-power rifle, been shooting handguns & shotguns for years. I have tried my old Sugar Creek handgun rest but it really doesn't work well with a rifle (S&W M&P15), the gun just moves the support around way too much.
Can anyone recommend a rifle rest I can use for sighting in?
I'll probably buy from Midway.
thanks

These two American products are top notch.

I only have experience with the first and think very highly of the Protektor Model brand of leather bags. Less than $60 for front and rear bags, beautiful full cowhide, perfect stitching, double base. Tell the Protektor staff what your rifle is and your purpose, they will steer you straight. Made in Pennsylvania, America's groundhog heartland!

Edgewood is another highly regarded US leather bag. Possibly a bit more $ than Protektor.
