rifle rest

Hi; flexible here. I am sighting in my first hi-power rifle, been shooting handguns & shotguns for years. I have tried my old Sugar Creek handgun rest but it really doesn't work well with a rifle (S&W M&P15), the gun just moves the support around way too much.
Can anyone recommend a rifle rest I can use for sighting in?
I'll probably buy from Midway.

Caldwell makes some decent bags for a reasonable price, but they're not hard to make.

The Protektor Model Company's leather bags are the best I have ever seen and the only bags I know of that are made in the USA. I have several and have been really happy with them.

If you can't find shot bags from a shotgun reloader, the plastic bank bags work okay. I've used a chunk of 4x4 under the front bag, which has proven to be stable.
