Rifle value Q: Browning BLR .243 w/ bluing loss

Hey y'all,
I have a line on a Browning BLR .243 w/ bluing loss, guy's asking around $350. If the finish is all that's marred, is this a good deal? Thanks!

That's a fair price. My local gun shop has them new for $799. The few used ones I have seen run in the 400-500 range in good condition.

Is it an old one made in Belgium? I think the 1st yr. they came from there. I had a 243 in rough shape from there and wish I would have kept it. I have a 308 as well and it is a safe queen, one of the few.

Just curious!! Is it a BLR81 or the prior model??
