I've had this for a little over a year and am just getting around to looking at it. It's a Riverside Arms Takedown 12ga.
The only marking on the receiver is on the right side and it says:
RIVERSIDE ARMS CO.
Chicopee Falls,Mass. U.S.A.
It's the double humpback model with the trigger guard safety.
Serial # is 65xx B
It originally had a 30" fixed choke barrel on it but there was a bulge about 7" from the muzzle and the muzzle had a small dent in it. So, I did what any man would do and cut the barrel to ~18.5".
I know finding a date of manufacture is pretty tough. I was hoping someone could give me maybe a date within 5 years.
Any help is greatly appreciated.
Thanks
Adam
