RMR Bullet

While I don't/won't use plated bullets I have purchased a lot of RMR's jacketed 124 gr JHPs. I had some Nosler bullets of the same size and compared them to the RMR. Measured, weighed, and visual inspection. I couldn't tel them apart. I have reloaded about 1,000, 9mm w/RMR 124 gr. JHP for my "Just in Case" stash. Good products, good shipping, good deal...

I’ve bought a lot of 124grain MPR & match winners and they are fantastic. It’s all I load for our 9mms now.

I may have to check out some of the Plated 200grain round nose in 45 as that’s one of my wife’s favorite loads in her 4” kimber.

Very good folks who build a great product.

I received my first 2000 JHP MPR 124 gr from them a couple of weeks ago. As far as quality, appearance, and accuracy these are as good as the 124 gr Gold Dots that I reload.

I'm shooting their fairly new 124gr HP MPR bullets and I'm very pleased with them. I recently bought 2000 and I'm going through them quickly.
I looked on the RMR website and the description of the MPR bullets didn't say if it is jacketed or plated. Which is it? I may "need" some... :p

RMR website clearly states JHP - https://www.rmrbullets.com/shop/rmr...hollow-point-multi-purpose-round-bullets-new/

"9mm 124 Gr. RMR Jacketed Hollow Point (Multi Purpose Round) Bullets"

FYI, MPR also come in 115 gr bullet weights - https://www.rmrbullets.com/shop/rmr...ollow-point-mini-multi-purpose-round-bullets/

MPR is one of their in-house manufactured JHP with nose profile that follows more of RN than traditional HP nose profile (like Gold Dot). It's called "Multi Purpose" because the bullet can be used for 9mm and .357 Sig.

Like bds said, they are JHP bullets and if you buy them you won't be disappointed. I bought the 2000 to drop the price even more than the 1000. My postman was not happy! lol Its good he is a shooter too.

Only issue with the MPRs is they need to be loaded short 1.05ish for some guns.
All my 9mm are happy with them at 1.08.
Great bullets, great people, always happy with RMR.
Jake the owner is nice enough to support us with a discount code on RMR products to!

And because it is cheap enough to use for practice, competition, and for self defense. It has lots of uses.
