I truly believe one of these two candidates will win the republican nomination for president and I hope it's Ron Paul. However, if Fred Thompson wins, I will support him in the general election.

I like Ron Paul better because he has been consistent in his voting on issues he supports and he supports our constitution as it is written and would not support any changes to it in any way whatsoever.

Some will say Ron don't stand a snowball's chance in hades of getting elected. I disagree.

Fred Thompson is a flip flopper like Kerry. He changed his views on Kosovo and yet the GOP does not bring him to the post for it like they did Kerry. Why?

I myself will vote for Ron Paul. If he is not on the ballot and there is no Libertarian Candidates then I will write Ron Paul in. Other wise I will vote Democrat.

Before they lock the thread, (And I hope it's soon,)

Understand that there's a difference between political maneuvering and flip-flopping. The reason it's so difficult for congress members to get elected is that their entire career is a process of compromising on one issue to gain support on another issue. If the only posotion reversal you can come up with on Thompson is Kosovo, (and I bet if you REALLY dig, you could find more,) that makes him about the most stable member from either house to run for president in 60 years.

Hilary Clinton is counting on Fringe voters who NEVER find the perfect candidate to flake out in the election. Every one of you who votes for anyone other than the republican nominee is a vote she doesn't have to overcome. Thanks for helping.

You don't get positive change by allowing the worst possible candidate for gun rights to win, and hoping that they will be so bad that people will get rid of them later. NOW is the ONLY time to protect your rights. When they are gone, NO future president will have enough pull to get them back for you. The current process is the best course of action -packing the Supreme Court with conservative judges, who will be less likely to hear cases opposing gun rights.

Really. Let's go back to the George Washington standard. Anyone who wants the job probably shouldn't be allowed to have it.:p

Guys, those animal pics are great - especially the dogs - keep 'em coming!
