I picked up a "Gander Mountain Exclusive" - A Rossi single-shot 'matched pair' combo in .22 LR, .243, and .410... It comes with a shorter composite stock but it's still long for my son (he'll be 4 this spring). Does anyone make something like the 6-position collapsible M4 stock for this Rossi? I'd like something that will fit my son better so I can ease him into shooting with the .22 LR.

I called Rossi, (305) 474-0401, and they will sell additional wooden stocks for the youth guns for $35.
I also checked and they do not sell additional barrels for them so you cannot add other calibers in the future. They said it's because the barrels are fitted to the frames. I also asked about sending in a frame to have additional barrels fitted and they do not offer this service.

I, too, just called Rossi... The rifle I got in the set has black polymer furniture. Rossi said that the wood stocks would not fit on models that come with the plastic stocks. Being hollow, the plastic stocks aren't a good candidate for cutting down. Advanced Technology apparently makes a 6-position collapsible butt stock with pistol grip for the Rossi but it's packaged with a really cheesy-looking fore end so you have to pay for both even if you only want the butt stock.

Wow, I wouldn't have thought Rossi would retool the frame to fit a plastic stock instead of just making one that worked with the same frame as the wood.
