The only thing I'm seeing that mounts on the receiver's existing threaded holes is a Picatinny rail with peep sight mounted. Less than ideal esp related to it's required comb height, too high. There's always Steve's Gunz peep sight that replaces the bolt safety.
Steve's Gunz Adjustable Bolt-Mounted Blue Peep Sight Safety Replacement [PS-01] - Blue Peep on rifle Elevation adjustable blued steel bolt mounted peep sight. This sight replaces the ugly safety. It is elevation adjusted by turning it in or out and uses a knurled finger nut to lock it in place...
I have the safety replacement peep on my R92 and it works great. Haven't had any issues. It's been a while since I installed it, but I don't remember it being that hard to do.

One pin and the safety mech comes out, pop sight base in put pin back all pau!
If I remember correctly
I had one on my 357, and if I ever get another r92 that's going to be the site I use on it. I did have to cut the bead off of my front sight to get both of them positioned the way I wanted them.
