I followed a bit of info from here http://www.leverguns.com/articles/taylor/rossi.htm
But it doesn't quite work. It is smaller on the inside, and I was able to thread the spring in, but it is also smaller on the outside. The follower came out of the tube and was sitting above the carrier after I ejected the 10th round while testing operation immediately after installing. Is there something I can do to use this metal follower (wrap the base in something to increase diameter?), or do I need to toss it and order one from steve's gunz.
We found that on the .38/357 Rossi the magazine follower for the .25-20/.32-20 Winchester Model 92 is just right. It is the same diameter and length as the plastic thing the Rossi's use. It is a tad smaller on the inside, but I was able to easily "thread" the magazine spring into it. It works fine and looks so much better than what the Rossi factory used.
