Rossi safety plug sights

I have one and like it very well. But... I bought it from steves guns. The thing fit loose. Just barley enough metal for the cross pin to hold it in place and it wiggled around. Had a brass piece made to replace it That worked great. Buy A skinner lo-pro and make the piece that fits into the bolt. Steves sight is not worth the money.

Steve's has discussed this before. His sight is made a certain size that fits most Rossi rifles. However, due to the very inaccurate tolerances these guns are made to, it may fit tight, it might fit loose. He suggests simply flipping the sight around and filing a new, tighter groove for the pin, if your rifle has an oversized safety hole. Its common on Rossi's to have erratic specs, even the sight dovetails vary greatly in dimension.
