I always like to see when people with 8 posts rabble rouse . . . .

My initial thought was, does he work for hillary or mckain?

I don't like being herded . . . . . hope this thread gets closed.

Don't worry Treebeard, the Democrats have to have a moderate on the ticket, preferably from the South or they will not win. There would be little chance for a Hillary/Pelosi ticket.

I voted for GW in the last election purely based on the theory of "the lesser of two evils." I have not an will not vote Democrat unless they have a strong stand on homeland security and they are pro-gun rights (which will never happen anyway). It was a sad day when the left-wing liberals took control in the last election. So many of them are anti-everything good and they will now have several clowns filling very important positions. I was very disappointed with the Conservative turnout at the last election as well.  There was no excuse for the poor turnout as the liberals have been shooting themselves in the foot for the past year. It makes me ill to see more and more of this state turn red. People from NH know why so enough said on that. Rudy Guiliani would never get my vote....Period!!! Sorry for the slight rant, but on a happier note I am going out today and shooting both of my .45's.:D :D

Giuliani maybe America's mayor but that is all he'll ever be.....................mayor.
To me he doesn't have the "presence", nor the political stances, on issues I view as important.
As for us "GOP types" blindly shuffling off to the polls to vote for Rudy, I think there some confusion. What party is William Jefferson from? You know the guy with $90,000 grand "cooling in his freezer". He was re-elected. John "I'm not interested in the money....at this time" Murtha a D behind him too. Dan Rostenkowski, Democrat. Good ole Ted "when I returned Mary Jo and the car were gone" Kennedy. Just to name a few.
I'm not saying that there are no Republicans that haven't used political pull to get out of legal jams, but its hardly a GOP only issue.
The area I live in has been in the control of Dems for so long, that in many local elections Repulicans don't even field a candidate. What do we have to show for it? Increased taxes, a shrinking tax base. All because the electorate has the "Democrats are for the little guy" attitude. Or "My dad would roll over in his grave if I voted for a Republican". Well guys your dads dead! No-one is for the little guy, but the little guy.
If you keep voting the same you'll get the same results.

No-one is for the little guy, but the little guy.

Sad to say your right and after 40+ years of voting I intend to sit this one out unless I see a better candidate. I can no longer hold my nose and vote for the lessor of two evils as I have in the past.

ghouliani will never ever get my vote period.
Voting for GW was the clear choice in the last two elections, Gore and Kerry
were simpleton losers compared to GW.
But Right now, I am hoping Bill Richardson starts to run so I can start a Republicans for Bill campaign.
I agree. For the first time in my life, I don't see myself voting Republican.

I was unaware of his stance on gun laws, however I do know that he did a great job of cleaning up NYC.
