So I tried to make a video not only highlighting the basic disassembly and field-strip of a Ruger 10/22, but tried to make it fairly interesting with some history.

I'm working on a series like this (up to 5 firearms models so far), and I'm looking for some criticism.

Serious, don't hold back, what was WRONG with the video? Trying to improve for the future, and the rest of the series.

Maybe some qualification as to why you like the 10/22 so much. I only suggest this because you say you have had "plenty of problems with Rugers"

Good info on Erma Werke. They are not well known so much for their quality even though their name is out there. They seem to be brushed over quite often.

When I look up a video for assembly and disassembly, I appreciate it when it gets right down to it. You may want to change your tags and title to something along the lines of history and comparisons pertaining to the 10/22 as well as assembly/disassembly.

You are right about the assumptions you make pertaining to the trigger assembly. Maybe mentioning that there are other videos out there which detail this process would be helpful to the viewer.

Out of curiosity what other firearms were you planning on making videos of? I see you have a 96/22 video already.

I felt even thought the info on the ema? rifle was interesting, it really had nothing to do with the 10/22

also, not that this is very important. I would always take the barrel band off first.

and I think you could point out you need some type of pushing tool to get the various pins out.

and as mentioned above... be a little more specific about leaving the trigger group alone unless they are 'better' qualified.

Over all though I think the video was top of the line, you did good.

I thought it was well done. It was about the gun not you. Clear voice and to the point. Gave enough information about the rifles history to make one want to research more. I would watch more of your videos...Russ
