I need to pick up a .22 rifle (within the next day or two). It will eventually have a scope on it.
Based on posts here, it will likely be the Ruger 10/22. Is there any particular reason I might want to pay around $30 extra for stainless other than maybe being less prone to rust?
The only other rifle I am considering is the Marlin 60. (It will probably come down to which rifle "feels the best". - Although I do like the tube feed of the Marlin.)
Any thoughts? I mainly want reliable feeding and accuracy. If they are equal I would probably take the Marlin because of it's low cost.... however, if you guys think the Ruger is a sigificantly better rifle then things would swing that way!
Thanks!
