Ruger 22/45 premature mag release

What could cause premature mag release on a Ruger 22/45

MK III Target pistol ? It happens with the last 2 o3 ronnds.

Premature magazine ejection? LOL The magazine catch is not fully engaging the notch in the magazine. There could be some dirt in the catch or it just never fit properly when manufactured or has a burr in it or the spring has weakened or broke. Push a magazine in slowly and watch the catch move out and then snap back in. You want to see at least .030 " movement in and out.
