My wife is looking into getting her ccw and really went goofy for the 9 shot 22lr LCR. She usually shoots rimfire semi's so i was surprised to see her come over to the darkside:evil:

I'm wondering if theres been any bad feedback on it or any issues anybody has heard about. Thanks.

I have the 357 version and I love it. I have heard that the 8 shot LCR 22 has a awful trigger but YMMV and 8 shots of a good 22 ammo is going to mess up your day.

I bought my wife the LCR-22 when they came out. We have thousands of rounds through it. Its an excellent little revolver. Its accurate and a joy to shoot. She really enjoys shooting it. As far as the trigger, its a rimfire revolver and they will always have a heavier trigger in stock form than a centerfire revolver. The LCR-22 has a great trigger for a rimfire revolver.

If you are looking primarily for a CCW, also consider the 22 magnum. Compare the LCR 22 to the Smith and Wesson 43C.

I am happy with mine except for extractor frequently looses it grip on one or two pieces of spent brass.

I like my LCR-22 and so to the ladies who have shot it. Some have reported extraction issues with some ammo. Mine so far has extracted everything cleanly.

I have heard on trigger reset issues. Other than that, most everyone likes their LCR-22's with acceptance of a fairly heavy trigger. I finally found a pretty good holster for mine, so now I can retire the Uncle Mikes.
