I have posted this on a Ruger website, but not much traffic on that site, I have a series 100 Ruger .44 mag carbine made in 1972 so it is a Ruger Deerfield marked in this manner due to their lawsuit with Ithaca. my question is this is a tubular fed magazine and wondering the best and safest way to unload this carbine. Do you jack them out individually, open the tube and let them fall out? this is a different carbine as the barrel has been chrome plated, the action and trigger guard are stainless but barrel definitely chromed. Paid $500 for it, already offered $800, I shot a few rounds through it, very accurate and I love it. will be ideal hog gun in the brush.
