I've been trying to get a replacment barrel in 17 HM2 for my 77/22. The one I've been looking at is a Green Mountian 20" blue fluted sporter with a 1:16" twist. Nobody seems to have this in stock though. I have had it on back order for several months now and still no idea when I will get it. do I have any other options? I need a replacment in 17 hm2 with the factory sporter contour. I still want to be able to put the 22 barrel back on so I do not want to modify the stock.
Also is there a diffrence between the 77/22 and the 10/22 barrels where they attach to the reciver?
