Ruger Alaskan problems? Anyone hear anything?

I was talking with a local dealer today (Sportsmans Warehouse), asking about Ruger Alaskans. He said they'd gotten a couple in, sold them and then Ruger stopped distribution because of "problems". He said that's what his distributor told him.
Anyone know anything about this?

Ruger was probably too embarrassed by the billboard of legalese on the side of every barrel.

Other than stout recoil, it's difficult to see what problems there could be. Those SRH frames are tanks.

Yeah, it's just a sawed-off SRH. Hard to see what could go wrong except for the "hammer-shaped indentation in the forehead" problem. Would be interested to hear more details, if they exist.
