The only difference in the 3inch Ruger Gp100 is the smaller grips, but the grip frame is no different from model to model, correct?

Basically can I throw on any grips that fit the 3inch on any other GP100?

Thanks
Chris

Yup. The GP100 comes as a fixed-sight in 3" or 4" with a smaller grip, or 4"/5"/6" with a larger factory "square-butt" looking grip. Both share the same grip frame "mounting stud" underneath so yeah, you can put the large grips on a fixed-sight or small on an adjustable.

The SP101 is a different grip frame underneath. The SuperRedHawk is identical to both GP100 variants.

gp grips

the only change in gp grips was the early one had split rubber & the dowel that now slides out is fixed.
