I just heard of these, they are in the new Ruger catalog and as yall can tell, the .308 is dear to me. I just ordered me a M1A scout but this new rifle seems to be part M77, part mini/M1a. Jeff Quinn of Gunblast did a favorable review, but then again I cant seem him giving it a thumbs down just yet. anyone out there have their hands on one of these Rugers yet? already wanting another .308.:)

I think there is a review here on THR. Seemed pretty good. I am getting mine Friday and will be out with it next week. The one I handled was great. If you like the .308 this is a very interesting rifle.

If you have an M1A scout, I don't understand why you would want to limit yourself with the Ruger scout, but to each his own.
