ruger mIII trigger

just bought new mark III, out of the box load mag pull the bolt back let it go to battery, pull trigger does not fire pull trigger again it fires, shoots rest of mag. next mag had to pull trigger 2 times to start shooting. sent to ruger paper work says they replaced disconnector assy. still have to pull trigger 2 times to get it to fire. Help, THANKS

Hmm, that's an odd issue. I bet it has something to do with the magazine disconnect, though. Have another mag to try? It's possible your magazine is, for whatever reason, not fully releasing the disconnect. If I could see it myself, I'm positive I could find the problem, but not being able to do that, I can only speculate. It's also possible that whatever trigger component the disconnect interacts with in order to prevent firing isn't properly shaped.

2nd mag still same problem, i am going to take a screw driver & push up on disconnector though mag well & see if that helps. did not work.

i just now see the problem when u push the trigger disconnect down as in the bolt coming back the mag disconnect is rubbing the trigger disconnect & not letting it pop up

Shouldn't be that hard for you to fix, then, so long as you have a file and maybe some pliars.

took out the disconnector spriig bent it about 2 degrees away from the disconnector the end that has the little hook on it , this makes the spring hug the disconnector , also streched the spring in the trigger for the trigger disc.lotts of small parts be very careful if u do this look at ur book study ur gun before u start , mine works great & i didnot have to send it back to ruger again
