Just wondering' whats on the GB that's different than the regular Mini14 Ranch model. Would it fit the folding stock?

Many of them have shorter barrels, and some have the front sight on the gas block cap, but otherwise, no difference. It should fit most any stock. I had a guy tell me just today that some of the newer stocks wouldn't fit them, but selling stocks for years, it's the first I've heard of that.

I understand that Ruger has recently been selling a model they call the GB that has an improved front sight near the muzzle but no bayo lug or flash hider. I don't know if the new GB model is based on the Ranch action (fixed ejector and integral scope base) or the traditional Mini-14 action (plunger ejector and no integral scope bases).

Cottonmouth has a real GB of the kind that used to be issued to police forces and prison guards.

The new version with the same name makes selling one of the older ones more difficult because of confusion.

shorter barrel, flash hider, bayonet lug, sight mid barrel, & they are stamped law enforcement or government use. the rest is the same.
