Ruger Mini 14 Price?

There is a guy selling a mini 14. He has about 200 rounds through it. Comes with synthetic stock and TAPCO collapsible stock with pistol grip, and 2 mags. Serial number starting with 580. He bought it about 4 or 5 years ago brand new. Blued parts, not stainless

He's asking $700.

Thoughts?

considering you can get a new one for less, I see no reason to entertain his offer

I bought my 581 mini brand new for $610.00 and that was with tax and background check included.

New Mini-14s start at $725 in my neighborhood. Used depends on how badly the owner wants to sell. There is one for sale now,a 581 series for $500 including extra magazines(I bought his Mini-30)on a local trade forum.
