Has anyone given any thought as to if the "Bullet button" makes an AR NY compliant?

If it does, then that will void out adjustable stock, muzzle break, and pistol grip parts of the new law.

Not to muddy the waters, but I think Ruger made the Mini-14 in 6.8 SPC for awhile also. You may want to take a look.

Edit: 6.8 SPC not 6.5

I think the only state that requires a bullet button is the people's republic of california

I have a Mini 30 that I've hunted with for 20+ years. Killed a lot of deer with it and have put thousands of rounds of all kinds through it without any issues.

I also have multiple kinds and variations of AKs, ARs, SKSs, Saigas, shotguns etc.

The Mini 14 or 30 is as good a choice as any IMO.
