And to answer someones question, the reason guns are less accurate when the barrels are hot is because the steel molecules in the barrel are moving fast.

I had a 180 series blued Mini-14 and stupidly traded it years ago for a hard drive, along with 6 PMI 30 round mags. After all, that stuff's going to be around forever, right? :banghead::banghead::banghead:

I now have a stainless Mini-14 in a folding stock as my "house gun" and a stainless Mini-30. Both are unfired, and my motley pile of aftermarket mags are untested.

I'm going to be in terrible shape when the Venezuelan Army is throwing itself bodily against my front door.
