Ruger MK77 300 Win Mag buy?

Ruger M77 300 Winchester mag Mark II for $349.00
Is this a good deal? Blued barrel with walnut stock.

That's about $200 less than it's worth. THey were selling in the mid $500's around here NIB. I have that gun in 270 and it's been a rock solid performer. I will never wear it out in my lifetime.....and I'm trying.

I'd buy, even if I didn't have a use for it at the present time. Good trading gun sometime down the road.

A few months ago I sold one. Stainless, laminated stock. Unfired. Guy thought he got a screaming deal at $550. I thought he did too.

You done good.

With the economy the way it is, there's going to be less and less demand for hunting rifles. Less places to hunt, no money for gas to get there. My local dealer is giving screaming deals on hunting guns right now.

I suspect Gander Mountain is about 30 seconds from going out of business. I know the local Cabelas has laid off about 75% of their original workers.
