Thanks for the video links. Makes it look easier than I imagined. Bad luck though, found out that I had a broken sear pivot pin. Need to replace that and maybe some options.

Might as well get a Volquartsen sear, Trigger, and bushing, along with what you need to fix your gun. Then you will be able to rid yourself of the mag disconnect and life will be a bit easier as well as having a world class trigger.
One of these bushing suppliers may have what parts you need to fix your gun, saving you from ordering from different suppliers.
That dang hammer strut! I think it gets all of is MK pistol owners at least once. I know I got mine all jammed up the first time. The strut now bares a scar from when I nearly broke it off. With a little practice disassembly and reassembly is no big deal though. Deleting the mag disconnect simplifies things too.
