Hello o am new to the forum and I was wondering if anybody knew what the price of a ROA is going for these days. I have one i would like to sell. I purchased it new in 05 and i have shot it less than 50 times cleaned it each time and placed it back in the safe. It is stainless 7 1/2 barrel rosewood grips and is in the original box

Somewhere between $400 - $500 based on the condition, the selling venue, if shipping is included and whether there's a full moon or not. ;)

In my humble opinion, the BEST thing that you could do is to keep the ROA, learn to shoot the same and enjoy all of that particular revolvers attributes as there AIN'T none better.
However, since the ROA is no longer made, you can expect top price for a really great SUPER ACCURATE percussion revolver.

What Zeke said doubled. If you take care of it, even shooting it, the price will continue to go up as said, they aren't made anymore so there is a limited supply and they are desireable. The current going price is in the $400 to $500 as stated above.

I'm with Zeke and robhof on this one.
I'd keep it unless I was in dire straits.
It's a great revolver and your grips look better than mine.

If you feel the need to get rid of this I suggest that before you put it on GB you might want to think about putting it on the classifieds here. Make sure you put up a thread with a link to it here in the BP section. I'm sure that somebody here could provide a kind and loving home for this poor stainless orphan.

If you do sell it and you have the original Ruger nipple wrench it is almost a collectable on its own as they are no longer produced either. The original nipple wrench might be worth $20 all on its own.
