I am looking for some magazines for a 9mm Ruger P95 and can not find any at a decent price. I am kind of suprised that a gun that cost 300.00 has mags going for 35.00 or higher. My Glock mags are only 20.00 and it is a 500.00 gun. What gives?
Can anyone recommend a place or can tell me about some after market mags for this gun? Thanks for any information.

The P95 was born during Klintons reign so there was never that many Ruger Hi caps made for it.

When I went to the Police Academy in 97 I had some USA hi caps and the factory ten round mags. The 30.00 each USA mags did not even last the first day on the range before they broke.

+1 on the 17 round Mec-Gars. I have two of those, one 20, and two 15. All the Mec-Gars work flawlessly. Jusr from my experience, stay away from ProMag and other hi cap mags that are not branded that you might find. You can't go wrong with factory and/or Mec-Gar.

The p-95 will accept mags for any Ruger 9mm including the P85, P89, and P94. The baseplates are a little different on some of them but I have never had any trouble with function. Prior to the AWB Ruger mags were one of the cheapest to buy, but since the ban expired in 2004 they seem quite proud of them. Look for used mags at gunshows.

In general I have found MecGar mags to be very good aftermarket mags. They also make OEM mags for some companies.
I'd buy them without reservation, especially from CDNN or Midway. I have dealt with both companies in the past and in the event you have any problems they will make it right.
