Is there such a thing? I was sighting in my new-to-me PC Carbine 9mm today and neither the irons nor the Romeo red dot are comfortably and correctly aligned with my eye with a proper cheek weld. It appears there is some sort of groove in the stock to accommodate a riser but it may just be decorative. Anyone know of something?

1KPerDay, thanks for posting this. I was thinking the same thing the last time I shot my PC Carbine. Right now I have the high mount on my Romeo 5 red dot. Mostly so I can also use the iron sights and the dot if the red dot dies but it makes for an awkward hold when using the red dot.

magyars4, thanks for that link. That recoil buffer system will be mine soon. :)
I was actually looking at a way to help buffer the recoil. Mcarbo’s system looks like just the thing.

After going in Internet “walk about” I do not see a lot of options. I used the high mount plate for my Romeo 5 because I wanted access to the iron sights in case of red dot failure. Highly unlikely but Murphy’s’ satanic little angel follows me around.

Anyway, I could not find a low rise QD mount for the Romeo 5 until today. I think I am going to go this route and see if this helps. If you go to the Q&A the seller says this mount will work with the Romeo 5.
