While I've read on this forum that many pc9 owners report good accuracy with these carbines, exactly what size groups are you getting and at what range? I'm getting 2 to 2 1\2 inches at 25 yards. This is what my Ruger P-series handguns do at this range. Are these carbines really no more accurate than a 9mm handgun? I've tried everything from 115gr. F.M.J. factory ammo to a plethora of handloads using slow, medium and fast powders. All groups are in the 2 to 3 1\2 inch range at 25 yards. Everyone else who shoots it ends up with the same results. Is this normal or is it just this particular weapon?

I get sub-2-inch groups at 50 yards with a red-dot sight from a rest. I can barely even see the target at 50 yards through iron sights with any of my handguns. At 25 yards with the PC9 I turn the 10 ring into a ragged, pulpy hole. With my CZ75B, I can't do better than 4-inch groups at 25 yards.

The PC9 is my all-time favorite squirrel killer, bar none.

Are you using the open sights? A red dot helps. I can get 1-2 inches with mine at 25 yards, maybe 2 inches at 50 yards. I haven't tried any farther out than that.

I don't care for the iron sights on a PC9, either the plain sights or the ghost ring sights.
