Ruger Redhawk 4"

I'm looking for a picture of this revolver. Does anbody have one that they can post on here for me?

I'm looking for the factory model not a Bowen, But I'll take a look at any picture of a Bowen if you have one to share:D

Thanks,
JD_LION

Good luck, from what i've read very little info and possibly no pictures exist yet.

But just in case they do, i'm here waiting to see them also.

I see that Davidson's has them in the inventory list, but allocated. I was hoping someone got one so they can show us.

Here is a picture of the Factory SS 4 inch Redhawk 44mag with the Alaskan snubbie 44mag.

They're not in Ruger's catalog yet. I've been waiting on them to be released too. Anyone have any idea what they'll run for?

Big Mike,
Wow!!!, Thats exactly what I wanted to see! Your Redhawk is perfect, I have wanted a custom 4" Redhawk for many years but now I'll wait for the factory model to save some $$$$.

RevolvingCylinder,
Davidson's (GalleryofGuns.com) has them for the same price as the other SS Redhawks without rings.

If you want a picture of what probably is the closest copy of what they'll produce, check out your newstand for the Ruger 2007 Annual magazine. I think that 4" SS .44 RH is on pg 36. I saw it at Wally World Monday.

Are there any plans for a 4" SRH in .454 Casull or .480 Ruger?
That size would be perfect!

It looks like they only released a 4" Redhawk in .44mag. I haven't seen anything about other calibers.

Also, at 47oz, that seems a little heavy for a field sidearm.
Smith & Wesson's regular 4" 629 weights 41.5oz and the 4" 629 Mt. Gun weights 39.5oz. The Redhawk seems a little obese.

Granted, those weights would look about right if they also planned to release a .454 Casull & .480 Ruger on the same platform/frame.

TWeatherford,

Please feel free to do so. I am glad you like what I have done to it. I really like it myself and have generated a lot of curiosity at the gun range with it.

Mike

Obese... that is why I didn't buy any Rugers for years other than a Mark II 22 auto. Have a few now. I really like the GP100, but not crazy about the Super Redhawk. I want to try out the Redhawk one of these days.

Frankly, I always preferred Colts and Smiths. But Ruger is making a good solid revolver these days.

obese Ruger revolvers?

I understand that some like a lighter revolver for carry, however, I love Ruger revolvers, the redhawk in general- (a 8 3/8" Redhawk in 44 Mag was the first revolver that I ever shot). Yes, that is a big chunk of steel, however, it is appreciated when you are shooting powerful cartridges- or at least I appreciate it. And at under 50 ozs, for the power it gives you, that is pretty reasonable- would you rather be packing a shotgun or rifle? I understand many of you have far more experience at shooting than a youth such as myself, however, I just enjoy the solid feel of a heavy piece of steel in my hands. :)
