I see Ruger has a theme going on here, your new 9 looks very much like my new LCP2 all grown up.

The one time I sent a gun in to Ruger they sent me a sticker when it came back. I still have it stashed as I will not put a firearms sticker on my vehicle. It is a cool looking sticker though. I think you did okay on the cleaning cloth. Ruger customer service is A okay in my book. Paying shipping both ways & resolving a problem. I have read some horror stories about some other manufacturers on the forum boards.
I don’t put any gun related stickers on my vehicles. But I did find a place for all the stickers I get. I have another Ruger stickers to add.

I’ve put around 400 rounds through mine without any issues (3 different bullets including cast). It shoots well too.

Cant wait to hear how it is after the next 100 rds.I got my fingers crossed for you .
Well I just finish putting a total of 300 rounds through it. It handles great and has eaten everything I feed from 115gr -147gr FMJ, brass, steel and nickle cases and all types of hollow points. Even some +P loads.
The frame pin is staying in place. no more walking out.
I think this one will end up as mu bedside gun, taking the place of the Taurus 85.

Gunny

Thanks for the update! Looks like it would make for a decent service pistol, either in the home defense role or else as a car/truck gun.

I've only recovered a few plated 9mm's. They were the Walmart el-Cheapo Federals but the plating must be a lot thicker because they didn't look anything like that.
