I have a 2.75" Security Six and am looking for a "boot" type grip for it. I have the stock grips, and the "Pachmier (sp)" rubber grips, and the Ruger full size target grips. I am looking for something that still gives a good grip but is easier to use for ccw.

Any suggestions would be appreciated.

Call Badger he doesn't list them on his site but does still make a few. I just got these for my Speed Six.

Eagle used to make the 'Secret Service" line for the Speed Six.

Yep they are mine above. I don't think Eagle makes them now but they should!

Failing that, Badger.

It's not too difficult to change the square grips to round butt grips. You can also use a Tyler T-Grip Adapter, which would be my first choice. But I also like the round butt for guns up to 4-inch barrels.

The two bottom pistols have round butt grips that feel great. I wouldn't
put round grips on a 6-incher, though.

Confederate,

I did that to my 4 inch blued Security Six just this weekend. Bench grinder and used old RB Speed Six grips to scribe against. Then polished and cold blued before putting on pachmayr RB grips like you have pictured.

Also, of course, I did that a while ago to my 2 3/4 Stainless Six.

But it's just to pretty to shoot!

I loooooove those boot grips! I plan on getting a set put on my old 686 no-dash. I was going to go through Badger, also.
Yes they look good on Smiths too
