Ruger Single Six Old Model

I acquired a ruger single six 3 screw old model flat top. serial number 342667. I know it was made before 1973 as there is no transfer bar. The ruger site does not show serial numbers like this. What am I doing wrong in my search for the year it was made?

That's the magnum model from 1962. Must not be 22lr

Yes, it would have to be a .22Mag model from 1962.

FYI, the term "flat-top" is typically not used for Single Sixes, just 1955-1962 Blackhawks.

What does it say on the side of the frame under the cylinder? As the others have noted, this gun is in the magnum serial number range. Do you have one or two cylinders?
