Given the choice of Service Six, Security Six, and Speed Six, equal condition, equal money, equal barrel length, which would you purchase?
Not when you drive or sit in a chair all day they aren't! The muzzle sticks in the chain and the grips in the ribs. I have 4 inch Security Six, 4 inch Service six, 2 3/4 inch Speed and Security Six and the short barrels are far more comfortable all day.I have always thought of the 4" heavy barrel Security Six as being the right combination of size, weight, and balance in a DA .357 revolver.
It would have to be a 2 3/4" Speed Six in stainless.
Since I also have several Six Series revolvers and a good few in the 150 series, I'd like to hear your reasons for favoring your 150 S/N 4" Security-Six? I like em too-but, I'm interested in what your preferences are about them compared to the new model Sixes?
The adj. sights don't bother me, as I reload and shoot a wide variety of loads in this gun.I would chose the Security-Six for the simple reason, it has adj sights.
