I think I have my Ruger SR-556 set up the way I want it now. So I figured I'd share some pics.
As it came, right out of the box, a week and a half ago.
Troy folding battle sights, Troy Quad rail, Troy rail covers (3), Hogue grip, flash hider, M4 style six position stock, three 30 round Magpul mags, and the four position gas piston system.
30 rounds fired standing, offhand at 25 yards using the Troy battle sights as they came from the factory:
I mounted a Leupold 3-9X40mm VX1 and fired a three shot, 1 1/2" group at 100 yards. I'm not a very good rifle shooter and I think it's capable of better groups.
Now the SR-556 is set up with a BSA electronic red dot reflex sight, dual mount sling mount for my Tactical Tailor single point CWB sling, Streamlight TLR-1 LED light, and a Ruger folding forward mount vertical grip (holds extra CR123 batteries for the light and an extra flat battery for the BSA red dot).
I think I'm all set...for zombies.
