Brand new out of the box.
My Brother-in-law came up today to try out his new Ruger and he had Fiocci 9 mm 115 FMJ RN gr ammo.
Every magazine he loaded had a complete fail to eject, empty still in chamber, and/or a stovepipe fail to feed. Most were fail to eject. Tried a little lube on the gun but made no difference with Fiocci ammo.
He also had a box of Walmart FEDERAL AMMUNITION 9mm LUGER 115gr FMJ RN which there were no issues at all.
So what is the problem? Is this handgun fussy, are Fiocci weaker that they won't cycle.
Does the gun need a break-in ( shouldn't )?
Wonder if anyone else has had this issue.
I suppose this post is specific to the Ruger SR9c.
Thank you!
