I've just purchased myself a Ruger Super Blackhawk Hunter in 41 mag off of an online auction that was listed NIB. I believe this to be true. I am concerned about the way the cylinder lock works on this revolver. When you open the loading gate the cylinder spins freely as is normal. When you close the gate the cylinder still spins freely until you back the hammer. I have a SBH Hunter in 44 mag also. The cylinder goes into lockup when you close the gate on this one. Is this somthing new from Ruger or is this somthing that needs to sent back to Ruger. The SBH Hunter in 41 mag is a dealer excluesive only production, could this have somthing to do with it?
