Done and link shared, in addition to writing my own personal correspondence.

Ruger has a link on their home page that says "take action now". Click on the page, fill it out and hit "submit" and a letter will be sent for you to all of your local, state and national representatives, up to and including the President. It's never been so easy to do something so critical. If you enjoy your rights, please participate in fighting for them now.
Thanks for that--Really quick way to productively disseminate our message to the 'Powers That Be.'

Yes, Bill was a traitor. But he's not alive anymore so it's kinda hard to do him any harm. As for the company, if this is their way of trying to make amends, I think it's a good start. I try to always give people and companies the opportunity to make amends.

Done. That's my second round of letters. The first one I wrote out myself via each members' web page. This is far more easy.

Done. Also liked and shared on FB (maybe my twenty or so friends will also), and emailed to the gun rights supporters in my office.

Bill Ruger??? ("no private citizen needs a magazine of more than ten rounds") nor his company is a friend of mine. If you want to write your congresscritter show a little American initiative and draft your own letter.
Simply tell them to abide by their oath and that nothing else is acceptable.
This kind of laziness and blind following has gotten us to where we are today.
Wake up, folks and just tell them NO.
This is tired, worn out talk. The old man is long dead. It would be my presumption that the same, long dead old man, probably would not have support an AWB today. The nature of the American Shooter and the guns they buy have change a great deal.

Lot's not turn this thread into Ruger bashing. Let's not behave as if we live in the Balkans and nurse grudges for 700 years...shall we not?

Bill Ruger, and his policies, have been dead since 2002. Get over yourself.

Done. I'm contacting them all daily now, using different tools like this one, direct email, calls etc.

Eh, I think Ruger may need to work on the database

Atty. General William Ryan (R-PA) is two AGs old.

Done and Done. Can't imagine there is a reason not to do this. They send a letter, you might get a couple emails. If you don't like the emails, you apply a spam filter and add their domain name... this shouldn't be very complicated...

You can usually just unsubscribe (especially with elected reps) with just a click of a link.

Done and posted on Facebook.

Bill Ruger was trying to reach a compromise with Congress to save his company and the industry. If you guys have forgotten, the entire gun industry was under government-sponsored attack during the Clinton administration. His words were taken out of context and twisted to mean something not intended. He's been dead for ten years, get over it already.

Together we stand, divided we fall. Your choice.
