Received mine at lunch and in response to the weight, when one takes out the cylinder it is significantly lighter feeling, there is a lot of it's weight tied to the steel cylinder. I'll have to weigh the cylinder separate to see the weight.
Uploading photos from phone as we speak. Haven't shot it yet, but initial impressions are very positive for $180. The finish has a very slight rough feel to it, it's not smooth, but it's not abrasive by any means. I've cocked and thumbed the hammer down about 200 times already and it feels like it's settling in nice just from that little bit of action. Some things I noticed:
1. ejector rod is steel
2. steel cylinder provides a significant % of it's over all weight
3. grips are serviceable, will probably buy some after markets sometime at a later date.
4. no glaring blemishes
5. the rear sight has a nice concave dish behind it which helps in guiding eyes to the rear sight
6. front sight post at extended shooting position has a nice amount of space between the rear notches, should be quite useful for accuracy
7. haven't tried the trigger on snap caps yet, just thumbing it down
8. seems like the hammer spring could be lightened a bit without compromising reliable ignition, we will see
I'll get a post up tonight with picture and my thoughts, don't know if I'll get to shooting it yet, maybe tomorrow.
Here is a couple of pictures for you.
