I bought couple Ruger 22/45 4" and the MK2 6 7/8 previously. The 4" is great size, but not as accurate as the 6 7/8 model. The thing is, the 6 7/8 model is quite top heavy after couple hours of shooting.

I'm in the market of a new 22, probably going to buy one tomorrow. I'm looking at this model. This one is fluted. There's another similar like this with slab barrel. Is there any major advantages between these two barrel types?

I just placed an order for a brand new Ruger KMKIII678H. Who's got one of these? So this is the current Ruger top model for the MKIII line. We'll see how it works.

I have one. Fine Ruger.
