I was shooting some of my 158 gr LSWC through an 1894c and my accuracy disappeared after 5 or 10 rounds. When I got home, there were large streaks of lead toward the muzzle end. Those bullets were zipping out at 1600 or so, and I've read that they likely "ran out of lube" Besides for running them slower, could I just get some liquid Alox and bowl-tumble them a bit?
These are standard, single lube groove bullets with the blue stuff in the groove, no extra lines or ridges to hold more Alox lube. But I just need some extra, right?
I may just switch over the using the 125 JHP since the Montana Gold bullets aren't that much more expensive than the 158 gr LSWC I've been using.
